After discovering the true identity of “the one who saved her with a game,” Anzu is at it again trying to win the heart of Yugi’s alter-ego. This time, Anzu has brought Yugi to an amusement park, but Yugi has his face buried in the newspaper.
“Ack! The playing card bomber struck again! This is the third time!” says Yugi, “Anzu, did you hear?”
Anzu might have heard, but she does not respond, as she is quite annoyed that Yugi is focusing more on the paper than on her.
The two finally reach the amusement park.
“Anzu, the two of us going out,” says Yugi, “…would you say we’re on a d-d-d.”
Before Yugi can finish his sentence, the ticket lady notices that Yugi has a high school ticket.
“You’re still in grade school, right?” asks the ticket lady.
“E-excuse me! I may not look it, but I am in high school!” retorts Yugi.
(Now I want to see what would happen if Yugi Muto and Edward Elric called each other ‘short’.)

Yugi asks what ride they want to go on first, but Anzu already knows – the water slide. Anzu strips into her bikini and uses the power of seduction to lure Yugi in. It seems to be super effective, as Yugi can’t seem to stop ogling at Anzu’s ‘dynamite body’.

(We’re at that fanservice-y ‘beach’ chapter that usually happens near the end of a series, aren’t we?)
Anzu and Yugi relax on some beach chairs. As Anzu looks to her side, she suddenly sees that Yugi has transformed into his alter-ego for some unknown reason. He quickly snaps out of it when a kid sprays him in the face with a water gun. As Yugi chases after him, Anzu realizes it was just her imagination.
The ordinary Yugi is like a kid, thinks Anzu, What can I do to make the Yugi I want to appear?
A handsome dude in a speedo and with a perfectly tanned body approaches Anzu and asks if she wants to go down the water slide with her.
I know! Maybe he’ll appear if I’m in trouble!, thinks Anzu.
“Help!” cries Anzu, “Pervert! What are you doing?”
A mob of men appear and drag the handsome dude away and start clobbering him.
Yugi walks up to her and asks what the matter is.
Upset that her plan didn’t work, Anzu pulls Yugi away and tries to come up with another idea.

After going on a few more rides, Yugi and Anzu notice a group of police officers standing in the middle of the park.
Suddenly, the amusement park’s PA system turns on and says, “Attention, park patrons, the police have received a bomb threat in the park. We can’t go into details for security reasons, but…uh…please follow the instructions of the nearest police officer and quickly and calmly proceed to the nearest exit. You can also jump over the little fences. Thank you.”
“This is terrible,” says Yugi, “I wonder if it’s the same bomber.”
Yugi says they should get out of here, but Anzu realizes this could be a good way to see the other Yugi.
Suddenly, a stampede of park attendees come rushing towards the gate. When they all pass by, Yugi sees that Anzu has disappeared. Yugi searches the park for her. When he passes by the Ferris Wheel, Anzu calls out to him from one of the cars.
I’ll make Yugi anxious! Then maybe he’ll come out, thinks Anzu, Maybe I’ll get to see the other Yugi!
(What a damsel!)
Yugi approaches the police officers, who seem to be in distress, and says, “Excuse me, my friend is on that Ferris Wheel. Is something wrong?”
“There’s a bomb planted on that ride!” says the detective.
Yugi panics.
The detective gets on the phone with the card bomber, who asks, “Did you bring what I asked for?”
“Yes, I’ve got the cards!” says the detective.
“All right! The wheel takes 10 minutes to make a full turn. After that, the bomb explodes!” explains the card bomber, “but you have one last chance! Let’s play a card game. If you’re lucky, there won’t be any more bodies.”
The detective holds up a deck of playing cards and asks, “Who’s a good card player? Is there a gamer here?”
Yugi transforms into his alter-ego and says, “I’ll do it!”
(That moment when a useless skill randomly becomes useful.)
Anzu is elated to see the one she has a crush on.
The detective gives Yugi his cellphone so he can communicate with the card bomber.
“I’m here,” says Yugi, “What are we playing?”
“The game is…Clock Solitaire!” says the bomber.

The game will be played like a regular game of Clock Solitaire. Yugi is to shuffle the deck of 52 cards and create 13 piles of 4 cards and arrange 12 of the piles in a circle, and place the last one in the middle. The game begins by flipping over the top card of the middle pile and moving it to the bottom of the pile that corresponds to its position on a clock face, with Jacks as 11’s, Queens as 12’s, and Kings being placed in the middle. Then, Yugi is to flip over the top card of the pile he just added a card to and repeat the process. The game ends when all four Kings are face-up in the middle.
Yugi begins the game. He flips over the top card of the middle pile, and it turns out to be the 3 of spades. He places the card in the far right pile, as that is where the 3 o’clock position is on a clock’s face. Next, Yugi draws a card from the 3 o’clock pile. It’s the 4 of hearts. He places it underneath the next pile clockwise. The next card is the 10 of diamonds, then the 4 of diamonds. Yugi keeps playing the game until he finally completes one of the piles – the 4 o’clock position. Suddenly, one of the cars on the Ferris Wheel explodes! It was the car labeled with the number 4.

I get it! thinks Yugi, This is a Clock Bomb game! This Ferris Wheel has 13 hours in the game! When all four cards of an hour are turned over, the car with the same number explodes!
Anzu is in car #3, and there are other riders in cars 1 and 13. Yugi has to complete the game before one of those three cars explodes (especially Anzu’s). Yugi looks at the card game and sees that the 3 o’clock pile already had three cards in it.
No matter what, I must save Anzu! thinks Yugi.
The second pile to be completed is the 8 o’clock pile. On cue, the #8 car explodes. Yugi notices that he already has two Kings in the middle pile, meaning he just has to draw the next two before he draws the final 3. The next pile to be completed is the 2’s. The second car on the Ferris Wheel blows up. Yugi draws the next card and it turns out to be a King, now he just needs one more to win the game. The detective announces there are 20 seconds left until all of the bombs on the Ferris Wheel explode. Yugi believes in the heart of the cards as draws his next card. With five seconds to go, Yugi draws the final King! The game ends, and the police officers successfully evacuate everyone from the ride. Yugi is relieved that Anzu is safe.

“O right! Detective,” says Yugi, “You want to know where the bomber is? Check out the person riding in car #13. There won’t be a bomb on that car, and that’s the only place in the park where you can see my cards and set the bombs off. Car #13 is the only safe car. The person pretending to be a hostage is the bomber!”
Then Anzu takes Yami-Yugi by the arm and says, “Hey, let’s get back to our date!”
